Seasons of love

A well known trope, some heart stopping contrast of spirits. 

For,

You needed time and I wanted reassurance

My heart asking for the December snow,

while your soul gave out a July warmth. 

You needed to think about us, I implored for a love that said 'I would cross borders of war for you'. 

A cascade of Insecurities that opened up a sealed crate 

full of miscommunication. 

I rooted myself with branches of integrity, you were what they called a free spirit. 

A set of wings caught fire and the evil fairy smiled at the ashes that tarnished her dress. 

The prince who slept through his assault

And the princess who watched it happen. 

I admired autumn and so did you

 A final appeal in shades of yellow verve

Or that's what I thought. 

You were fond of scrunching leaves and a breathtaking end. 

While I kept hoping for rejuvenation and cold that brought us together once again. 

So we explored abandoned sites of what we called, 

A complicated relationship. 

Til mutual feelings of hatred started haunting us from a distance closer than we expected.
