Science Fiction - A Strange Combination
Science Fiction - A Strange Combination
Today, is the day for Science fiction,
With the Thors and Captain Americas,
With the Iron Men and their masks,
Ruling our lives and those of the youngs.
But,
Isn't it a funny combo,
And a strange one at that,
A Science which combines with fiction?
A world with gadgets,
But no time for love,
A world where Uncle Sam saves others,
And none has the choice.
A world where emotions are sealed
In bottles red, green and yellow,
And where one has to bottle up,
To make others mellow.
A world aiming at perfection,
Leaving aside the interesting imperfections,
A perfect boring world,
Each unto himself,
And no time for other.
Do you, me and we,
Require a perfect world,
Where always the Hero wins?
But,
Then who is to decide,
The Hero and the Villain?
Oh!
Give me a world with imperfections,
Which are mine to call,
With my own decisions,
With my own mistakes.
Oh!
Let me be myself,
A human, not a product of Science.
And letting it decide for me,
For I am a weak yet strong human,
Not the fiction of the Science fiction.
