School Tales
School Tales

We came to school
Not knowing what it was
With a bottle and a bag
While our parent's hand we caught
Right at the door
A stranger greeted us
While a crowd of little toddlers
Came and played with us
From hating the place
At first glance
And then calling it home
The best part of all
Was adding friends
To our family zone
From sharing tiffins
To stealing them
The bond grew even stronger
By having tales to tell every day
And beings each other's shoulder
We've fought every battle
No matter
Big and small
You've been my strength
When I was almost about to fall
We never let one be punished alone
We've stood together
Through twists and turns
Inter class games
Were always fun
We would roast the others
And make them run
13 years of our life
Magically came to end
Some stayed in contact
And rest became Facebook friends
The best days we spent in school
Sometimes we acted stupid
But felt it was cool!
Looking down the memory lane
So many precious treasures framed
Our beautiful days all make me smile
You are minted in my heart, it's not a lie
