Run To You

There are days I have no clue

Not really sure what’s true

I breathe in and then out

Try sleeping and then some more

Eat, watch drink and sleep

Still wake up to the same set of scary dreams

Tears trickle down my cheeks,

And realize, I can’t take it anymore

So..

At the end of a tiring day

I run to you for a comfy stay

Just hold me tight till I say,

Long enough for my thoughts to stray

Hold me till my tears dry

And all my baseless fears fly

Hold me still, till

I am finally me.

I know,

It’s no permanent way

That the dreams could come back any other day

But I enjoy this momentary peace,

So what if it’s a temporary place?
