REFLECTIONS

I believe people are the 

reflections of the love they receive.

You smile more when you are smiled at,

You love more when you are being loved,

You be good when the world is good to you.

You accept all the love, the kindness, the smiles thrown at you,

 consume them like a fancy mirror

in a hotel suite,

and reflect it among people you know.

Similarly, 

People project the scars within.

Things they can't talk about,

Things they were taught not to share,

Things that make them shy away,

Hide,

Cry,

Things that hurt.

They project the pain they receive,

Sometimes the same,

Sometimes as tears,

Sometimes as hate

And the list goes on.

So everytime somebody shows courage,

Somebody lets you in so easy,

Somebody smiles as if they were born with it,

Somebody love the way they were loved,

You get scared because you are not used to it,

You fear they would leave when they finally see you

And then,

You envy them,

for being all they could be without doubts

You envy them for being smiled at,

being loved

And the world is so good to them.

You envy them for all that they are.
