I have learnt, albeit after 

Making many mistakes

It's best to face realities

Rather than make excuses

For behavioural patterns

Which defy logic or reason

For too long been comforting

Myself with 'must be', 'maybe',

'Perhaps' in relationships 

Gone kaput like milk curdled.

Have stopped threading the needle

Have stopped mending broken bridges
