Recalls

While cleaning my closet,
I bumped into a unique chest.
I opened up with curiosity,
To my surprise, I would never neglect.
It had letters and dust all over,
I unfolded one by one to inquire.
Those letters were written by me to fiancee,
In my courtship period, I did this decree.
All those memories just flashed in front of my gaze,
That period was awesome filled with fun and glaze.
There were no responsibilities whatsoever,
Late-night calls just to hear each other was spectacular.
Now, after marriage, there is less time to love,
The feelings are the same but lest to communicate.
Rolling with tears I read those valuables once after the other,
Memories are indeed blissful I smirked and chorale.
My man had amassed this chest for retirement days,
When we both would relive and cherish our youthful joy.
