Raining Night

Raining Night

In the stillness of the night,

When the world is wrapped in dreams,

Softly falls the rain's delight,

A symphony of gentle streams.

Each drop a whispered tale,

Of journeys from the skies,

They patter softly without fail,

On rooftops where the moonlight lies.

In darkness deep, a soothing sound,

A lullaby for souls to rest,

Raindrops kiss the silent ground,

Nature's calm, a blissful nest.

The air alive with petrichor,

A fragrance pure and sweet,

As night-time rain begins to pour,

Earth and sky in union meet.

Clouds part ways to let stars peek,

Through veils of misty grace,

In this tranquil night so sleek,

Rain paints peace upon the space.

So let the night-time rain descend,

In its gentle, rhythmic tune,

A gift of solace that won't bend,

Beneath the glow of the watching moon.
