Rain Orchestra

In my beloved chair I rock

Rainbow from my balcony I watch

While rain drizzle and drop

My clock goes tick-tock

Hear different sounds from near and far

A unique music I hear so far

As drums of thunder, goes wild

And raindrops on leaves Jive

Clouds move like keys on piano

Wood-thrush sings like flute mellow

Wind plays my wind-chime like cello

Splash sounds added by tiny-feet fellows

Nature adds some music new

Parrots joins in with sweet sounds few

Harp and violin like magical tunes

Trees swing and play tambourine tunes

School bell rings loud like cowbell

Cow nods and rings it’s neck-bell

Rainwater in garden-pots plays harmonica

A singing-bird tunes its voice with someone’s Veena

Passing car too adds rhythmic sounds

Closing my eyes I enjoy all sounds

As a mesmerizing rain orchestra comes into play

I capture it in my mind for later to replay
