The Brutality
The Brutality
The photos in the museum showcasing the historical wealth.
One of the photos drew my attention at best.
By the sea a man is standing,
Holding the reins of the two identical horses.
The horses stand straight all trained.
Looking at each other as if challenging the power they held.
There seems to be mental war going on between the two.
Who is more loyal to the owner of the brutes.
The owner holds the two reins with same control and affection.
The shean in his speaks speaks of his trust on animals.
The picture speaks of the glory of the horses,
Of the wars won by the owner and the treasure storied.
The comradeship of man and animals have been through the ages.
The mutes proved themselves in the every phase of human mutiny
Be it the wars won, the milk feeder or sharing the sorrows and the bliss.
The animals supported the humans in every glitch.
I wonder at the irony the reality upholds.
The human is developed but the animal feels every hold.
Yet the level of brutality the mankind helds.
Killing the mutes for their fun and taste.
Commercializing the kill and amassing the wealth.
Do you think you own the nature's treasure chest.
The more the blood the more the floods.
Oh human! realise your true nature and your role on Earth.
