Qaasid (Messenger)

Qaasid (Messenger)

I have crafted words out of thin air and wafted them in your direction,

And talked endlessly with you in the moments that were silent in your assumptions.

I have reduced attachment to ambers by setting expectations on fire,

Only to rearrange ashes back into something prudent, giving one more chance to a liar.

I have been ensnared by darkness only to roam around recklessly,

Only to witness mornings filled with guilt and longing, pushing me to regret fallacy

So for one last time I am sending my messenger to you,

Only to let you know that strings have been detached words have been reversed and apologies have ceased to exist,

Hence your unsatisfied ego is beyond what all I am capable of repairing.
