I found myself at the door to this magical world, one fine day.

I got up, dusted my jeans before opening the door to this fantasy.

I fell in love with this little boy, living under the stairs,

So much that it irritated some around me.

But I never cared. I had found my place of solace.

With every passing page, I went crazy,

Including phrases like ‘Bloody hell’ and ‘Merlins beard’ in my vocabulary.

Though all this wasn’t just because of the boy with the lightning-shaped scar but because of his friends, family and enemies as well.

From Hermione and Ron to Hagrid and Cho.

Though I kinda disliked Cho though not more than Draco

And definitely not more than Umbridge, who made dear Voldy look like a darling in front of her.

I have never experienced so many emotions at once, my hearts get heavy when I think about almost all the characters.

They have acquired a place in my heart, so deep, that real people could only dream of making such a discovery.

I also have a love-hate relationship with Draco, though not because he was a bully.

I could relate a little to him. A lonely boy trying to fit in.

I have felt like that and it's not at all fun, always sympathised with him, a bit, but my struggles would never be as brutal as his.

I am writing this as I go down memory lane, reopening my Hogwarts letter and riding the Hogwarts express once again.

Having my fair share of butterbeer while supporting my house, Gryffindor, in Quidditch and throwing temper tantrums at Slytherins as they sing ‘Weasley is Our King’.

So I am going to have some Felix Felicis, you also go and have some fun because the feast is about to begin.
