Perfect Family Picture

He moved his black slate towards me, and I laughed at once.

The kid had drawn his family picture, his dad with a round face and square tummy his trousers covering most of his body, funny fingers, his mother with wild hair with invisible eyebrows was taller than his father with one leg floating in midair, his brother with spiked hair and strong arms had a fierce look on his face, next to him was his sister, flat smile and small eyes.

She was looking at him in the picture, he painted her blue, the boy in the picture was holding hands to hands and was happy with his family. He filled the sky and sister with his favourite crayon and rest everything was left white. “I lost my favourite crayon” he complained.

And I looked back at the slate, where everyone was smiling together for once,

And me, well I was smiling too.
