When days were carefree and innocent,

I was a little restless and a lot coy!

The Scooter rides to School when late,

Sunday shopping and tasty treats on my plate,

Vanilla Ice-cream melting in my hands,

When you procured vegetables while I tanned!!

When the sky was dark and roared,

Reached School with an umbrella when it poured!

When home from the hostel on vacations,

You made mundane days special occasions!

You were always waiting at the station,

To receive me against all ravelment!

My mind is numb and heart cold,

The grief in my heart will remain untold,

And memories of you will never get old!

Now it seems a lifetime,

No touch, no sight and no sound,

The love you showered with can never be found!!
