PAIN

No winter lasts forever,

No spring skips its turn,

No pain, no palm,

No thorns, no throne,

No gall, no glory,

No cross, no crown.

Pain has its own noble joy,

When it starts a strong consciousness of life,

From a stagnant one,

Pain nourishes courage,

You can’t be brave if,

You have only had wonderful things happen to you,

Turn your wounds into wisdom.

Sometimes you must hurt in order to know, fall in order to grow,

Lose in order to gain,

Because life's greatest lessons are learnt through pain,

Without pain, there would be no suffering,

Without suffering we would never learn from our mistakes,

To make it right, pain and suffering is the key to all windows,

Without it, there is no way of life.

If you can sit with your pain,

Listen to your pain and respect your pain,

In time you will move through your pain,

Pain is immune to empathy…like love,

Pain and pleasure like light and darkness, succeed each other.

Pain makes me grow,

Growing is what I want,

Therefore, for me pain is pleasure,

Without pain, without sacrifice, we would have nothing,

Pain is weakness leaving the body,

Failure gave me strength,

Pain was my motivation.

Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding,

You may have had unfair things happen to you,

But the depth of your pain is an indication of the height of your future,

The aim of the wise is not to secure pleasure, but to avoid pain,

Our strength grows out of our weaknesses,

I can bear any pain as long as it has meaning.

Smile, though your heart is aching,

Smile, even though it’s breaking,

When there are clouds in the sky,

You’ll get by if you smile through your pain and sorrow,

Smile and maybe tomorrow,

You’ll see the sun come shining through for you.
