Our Role Model

Our Role Model

Who'll we glint up to?

When our role model

Are broken and bruised

Drowning in Davy Jones's locker

Of alcohol and sinking

In the desert of marijuana.

We sit and hide behind

Closed doors with candles lit

Copying smoking feeding

Our perfect fantasy of freedom.

Licking left empty bottles

Of alcohol hoping it'll startle us

To be baptized like our role model.

We're young but our dreams

Is to be like you, you're our hero!

We look up to you! Thinking

That's how to overcome battles

Little did we know that they're

All hat and no cattle in life.
