Once in a blue moon
Once in a blue moon
Once in a blue moon the sky forgets it’s hue.
And trades it’s worn-out stars for something new.
The clouds drifts slowly, unsure where to go,
As if the night itself forgets it’s glow.
The wind speaks softly in unhard tunes,
Borrowed from dreams and distant moons
Time trips briefly, losing it’s pace,
Leaving wonder frozen in space
Hearts grow lighter, doubts grow thin,
Hope seeps quietly under the skin,
Such moments fade far too soon.
Yet, love forever in a blue moon.
