Once Again
Once Again
Once again,
I fell off into the pond,
To see her,
A mermaid,
Who rescued me from,
The tides of the sea once.
The way I got though,
And how I reached my home,
Still resides as suspense.
My grandfather,
Never talks about this,
And so the city as well.
She was beautiful mermaid,
I heard as my grandfather,
Spoke about this to my maid.
I met her there,
At the bottom of the pond,
I could hardly see her face.
Oh no, go home,
I will be there,
Always beside you,
She said.
The voice seemed familiar,
My mother kissed me,
On my forehead.
My soul reached a peace.
