Ode To The Spirit

My thoughts have got caught in the same rut

Keeps wondering of life, about ifs and buts 

Past is long gone, promises of future is a con 

Present is boring it is a daily drill with no thrill.

I anchor myself with a peg, I grin with a glass of gin

Spirits have been realised in the company of djinn.

Majority in the nation soak in their spirits called the Hindutva

I cannot digest this cocktail mix of 

things, tatva.

In the Ram Rajya, aaya Ram, gaya Ram, daily life is one maya

Need liberation from this suffering, may as well go to Bodhgaya.

Even the guru doesn’t speak true, for he has no clue

Cracks in the mind, is there a suitable glue?

Reels of lies become real

Can't accept the truth, there is all round denial 

If you have your bread and butter, its better if you do not utter

For the bigots don’t become a sitter, they will catch, you will end up bitter.
