Ode To Pencil

Oh pencil,you are the best

Oh pencil, you are the best

You help me in every test

People say you are just a piece of wood,

Oh pencil, you are the best!

 

The paper is the subject and you are the king,

Who puts on thoughts and the papers sing

Gleefully at your beautiful thoughts!

But the man is your master,

Who hurts you to make things faster!

Oh, pencil you are so loyal!

 

You stand on the pen stand for days with

Your glittered chest,

Yet nobody seems to care to give you rest!

You still manage to keep yourself erect

Finally, when the master uses your fine wood,

You break with a "snap" to enter the nap mood,

Oh, pencil you are so inviolable!

 

You soon enter the old age,

You are so small that you are thrown into death cage,

Although you are treated as a trash can,

But I am still your fan!
