A Life Beyond Dolls

A Life Beyond Dolls

1 min

A mother’s shadow disappeared,
And childhood dreams shattered.
Upon tiny, fragile shoulders,
Fell the weight of the world, battered.

At an age meant for dolls and play,
She burned her hands over the flame.
No toys, no laughter, no carefree days,
Just a life that was never the same.

Some handed her a broom to hold,
Some made her clean their floors.
Bound by chains of helplessness,
You turned her into something more.

Lying, stealing—was that her choice?
Or did this cruel world leave no voice?
Did she learn to deceive on her own?
Or was she forced to survive alone?

A mother’s mistake, but who paid the price?
A little soul, robbed of light.
For a single bite of bread,
How many nights did she go unfed?

In the icy winds of Himachal’s cold,
She trembled in torn shoes, so old.
A childhood lost in shivering nights,
Yearning for warmth, for love, for light.
