Letter to 'Not Father By law'

DEAREST DAD,A letter for you with a heavy heart!

Even though, the law can instruct me to not to call you as 'DAD'. But, Even the God couldn't change your blood running in my body!

Lots of life stuffs changed here, After you moved out! Mom has been changed, scolding me whenever I talk about you! Don't know what could have changed her heart to a stone! I could hear the laughter from friends asking about your relationship with mom. Relatives, adding fuel to the fire, saying vicious things to mom. One thing, I learnt firmly is

'We can't change the Past!'

Because only God knows, how many times I would have prayed for Dad's and Mom's peaceful life. But still, he is silent for my words! Do you remember this day? This is the day when you and mom signed legally for a divorce. 365 days have gone. Still and will pain in the heart that's not resistible.

Dad,

I miss your special home-made pizzas and Donuts! Those were the delicious of all, sweet as sugar, shine as star, as you'd have added love as an ingredient too!

I miss your good night kiss on the forehead!

I miss your stories with same plot everyday!

I miss your hands that pat me on shoulders, when I get succeeded!

I miss your smile with a tiny tear rolling down when, you see me through Skype!

Even though, I can't see you everyday but three month per year!

I don't know the reason you divorced for! And I don't need to! But both of you should have thought of me! The feeling of heartache laid on my dark phases in life is inescapable!

Being a Soldier of our country, you'd love our country of course, but for me?

Being a soldier of our country, you'd have fought with the enemies on the border, but why did you do the same in Family?

Being a Soldier of our country, you are loved by all, and Don't forget that you're my dad and I loves you too!

When they asked me, "As your parents are divorced, Who you'd prefer to live with?"

How brutal question is this?

Not knowing the seriousness, I replied, "BOTH".

Then, they themselves insisted me to live with mom, as Father is an army man, and he has to spend most of the days on the border!

But dad, however my mom expresses the anger out, I could feel her realizing the mistake she had done. I hope you'd also have realized the mistake. Whenever rises a fight, there must be some fault from both the sides!! But it's late dad!

You are two sides of a coin, Dad! I really, miss you to the core!

Even countries have boundaries, but love has no boundary at all, Dad!

I love you infinite times! Will you come and meet me after this pandemic gets settled? Please dad, For me, please you and mom talk to each other once again! Sometimes ego makes the relationship distant! I am expecting a good decision about this matter rather than a reply-letter, which is more than enough for me!!!

Please take care of your health dad! I am okay here, healthy. Be safe during the fights! Gain proud to our country! And pray for our Family, Dad!
