Not Alone?
Not Alone?
What if there’s someone like us?
A civilization far away.
Maybe as strong as steel or as brittle as clay.
Maybe they live in water,
And their fishes on land.
Maybe they’ve gills,
And their fishes, hands.
Maybe the sky’s green,
And the land blue.
Maybe the friction’s so strong,
That it holds ‘em like glue.
They might know how to terraform a planet,
Or maybe they have a super-strong gadget.
We’re not alone,
We’re not supreme.
Maybe against them,
Our chances are slim.
