Nostalgia
Nostalgia
A rush of glee ran through,
This feeling strongly grew,
Lips opened up for a smile,
Eyes glittered with tears,
Yes, I could see it and I was near.
The aura I could smell,
The environs I could feel,
And Oh the verdant aisle,
This place is perfect and there’s nothing wrong,
Just could not wait to reach where I belong.
Passing through the places of memories,
It’s all real, not a reverie,
Flashes of past time engulf my thoughts,
And I hear familiar voices all around,
There’s no strings attached and I feel unbound.
This rickshaw is my wagon wheel,
GOD of this heaven that’s what now I feel,
It’s where Rays of sun kiss the lush grasses,
And oh the sparkling Dew of dawn,
It’s all nostalgic that’s calling me home.
