Noise buried in silence

Noise buried in silence

You are the one who have the nature to listens romantic songs or stories,

But have you ever tried listening?

The heart beats of that little life,

which were killed as soon as they come in the womb.

The sound of cries of the fairies,

who were thrown on the roadside in the garbage heap.

Have you ever tried listening?

The noise of breaking the dream of that girl who was fond of reading,

she got imprisoned in the house in the name of honor and tradition.

Or the pain of that bride who is lighting the stove silently,

what happened to her last night in the name of possession.

Have you ever tried listening?

The daughter of a father who died in the pyre of dowry,

Or the story behind the mark of acid attack on the face of a princess.

The agony of Nirbhaya-Asifa facing every day,

Or the story of a girlfriend who was sold on the brothels with fake promises by her lover.

Please tell me! Have you ever tried listening?

The requests buried in the silence of the sister,

Desires that are dissolved in daughter's tears,

Signs of pain in the wrinkles of mother's face,

The story behind the sadness on wife's face.

I know you must not have heard all this,

These are the feelings which cannot be expressed in words,

And you,

you just know how to command in a loud voice,

Still, if possible, keep your ego aside,

Try to grope the feelings of the woman's mind,

Or sometimes please try to listen the noise buried in silence,

And if possible, take a pledge to #free India from the policy of gender discrimination.
