This Is Me...

You want me to be a "Miss.", so that I look "pretty"…

but "this me" messes with the "Miss." nor she wants to look "pretty"!

You want me to be "Nice…"so that I can please "all".

But why to be nice to those… who are not "nice" at all!

 

You want me to be a "Lady", so that I can be humble & submissive...

But why should I follow you…? when with me I ain't much obsessive…

 

You want me to be "Beautiful"… so that you can try to love me… 

but its not my fault…baby at all… if you're too blind to see the "Real-Beautiful-Me"!

 

You want me to be "Traditional"… so that you can "exhibit" your culture… 

but the length of the fabric on my body; doesn't characterize me for "vultures"

 

You want me to be "Something"… the "something"…your senses can feast off…

but you're mistaken to objectify me… & for forgetting, I ain't here to be sold off

 

My looks, my curves...& skin… are not all, I have! 

Go beyond it; if you are capable of…! seeing a really strong-self!

 

I'm much more than you see… & what you think, you know and understand… 

The personality, I've, is real & unique… "Something" you can never ever have…
