Noble Profession

When we are seeking advice for sickness,

They are the ones we turn to, in confidence,

When things go wrong in our lives we seek;

Them out to turn our health around.

They are Doctors, who save us from illness,

now their role is of saviours , as we look

towards them, in the hope of saving us from;

The life-threatening COVID virus.

For when things don't go our way we panic, they smile

Which acts as a balm to calm our fears,

As they say in unison, we are there,

To treat you and to also care.

Their very presence is assuring,

Now working day and night, without rest,

Exhausted but not showing their tiredness,

dedication to their profession comes first,

So whenever I visit a Doctor and see,

The stethoscope around his neck, the pen,

The prescription pad, I feel overwhelmed,

I feel reassured no virus whatever its name,

Can ever invade our body and get away.

Doctors create a great impression,

In my opinion their's is a noble profession.
