SNIGDHA AGRAWAL

Tragedy

No reason to live

No reason to live

1 min 207 1 min 207

This morning is empty for

the signs that fill today are asleep

Hazy thoughts torment me

Refusing to germinate like seeds

I will wait for that drop of rain

To moisten the soil in my brain

Long since drought ridden

More and more often

I witness such mornings

surrounded by loneliness,

finding no reason to live

But I still breathe.
