No Matter What
No Matter What
“Take out the garbage.”
“Carry these bricks.”
No matter what the weight,
They are forced to do this.
Clasping each other’s hands tight,
Praying for freedom one more time,
The children want to fight right,
The children want to save their lives.
Marching onwards to danger,
To show that their right is education,
The students can’t help but wager,
The effects of such a notorious operation.
‘Bang!’ ‘Thud!’
Noises kept coming,
Inside, no one seemed loving.
Bruises, cuts, and scars,
Adorned the children’s bodies and faces,
It felt like they were losing a war,
A war that they were fighting in unknown places.
“Take out the garbage.”
“Carry these bricks.”
The people shouted at them.
No matter what happens, they will always have to do this.
