My Mother
My Mother
To the sweetest one in my life
A mother of one and a wife
Teacher; one of a kind
Parent with the sharpest mind
The human who is secretly a god
She runs the family squad
Works every day a lot
She is the best one that has ever got
Adorable and pretty
Welcoming and witty
She has a heart of gold
Her beauty never gets old
The star you will always see
Bright and filled with glees
He held my hand and helped me walk
She babbled words to help me talk
You kissed me on my cheek
When I felt sad and meek
Life lessons- you taught
"A child depends on the upbringing he got"
The things you have done on the way
Keeping a smile day today
You fill days with happy lights
Sweet dreams and beautiful nights
Even though you scream and shout
Be mad and angrily pout
The many things you have done
Whenever you were there
The yummy food and fun
Deep down you care
You are better than the rest
And I know coz” you are the best”
She is a comforting soul
She plays everyone’s role
Who taught me how to use my day
And God would listen to my pray
She was the one
Who taught me ‘fun”
The brown eyes
Her decisions are always wise
Her love never falls short
She is the one I’ve got
She stuck by me when times were tough
I could never thank God enough
Her tranquil smile and happy cheer
Makes every pain disappear
She taught me that life was tough
And people could be nice or rough
Beauty with brains; must say
Lightens our mood every day
I want to show I care
Such a mom is rare
But Making food wouldn’t do
Nor a card with paper and glue
A brilliant idea struck me
I will write a poem for her, you see
On this day I will express my care and love
For this wonderful and tranquil dove
God gave me as a gift, oh my
The one that wipes tears from my eye
