My eternal quest.
My eternal quest.
At the age of fifty,
Fifty is a round figure, just like me.
Friends are crying for a party.
But am in the mood to calculate,
what I have gained or lost.
I am at the ultimate hesitation.
To celebrate or to circumvent!
Being introverted and pessimistic
The past seems insignificant.
The future is despairing.
With menopause and thyroid, the present is balancing.
Adipose tissue is in love with me.
Are you the same woman I brought? asks my spouse.
At the age of fifty,
The slide from L to XL is very fast.
In showrooms, the salesman sighs with a heavy heart.
Even the government banned driving licenses,
Private officials say I am old enough to sit in silence.
But there is an itching above my outstretched abdomen.
To test anything in life, and I am the specimen
There is more to do before dying.
My ghost will destroy the world, I am not at all lying.
At the age of fifty,
I sleep every night with my eternal quest.
