My Best Friend

Friendship would be the best ship to ever sail,    

True friends stick together, others bail. 

All my friends will stand beside me when I cry,    

But you are the only one who tells me to give it another try.

If I could wish for one thing,       

 I ask for the smile that you bring.

The way we talk, the things you say,      

The way you make it all okay.

Holding each other's hands we talk all day,     

You are the first one to wish me my birthday.

All the good times we spend together should cherish,  

While the bad ones should perish.
