When I am mad or feeling blue

I take my device and play some tunes

This song is exactly what I need

It helps me forget the bad and be happy and free

It calms me down like a smooth breeze in a crazy sea

The thumping rhythms help me chill and be

Music helps free the mind of negative thoughts

And helps me wash away the thoughts I fought

There are different moods it's true 

Some happy, sad and some I'm not sure

Even sometimes I'm not in the mood

But others I let the music take my groove

So many artists I haven't even heard of

Release so many songs I can't stop thinking of

I sing in the shower, I know it's weird

But don't lie, you have too, so don't fear

It's like the music speaks to me likes it's my best friend

The bond I have for music will likely never end

So many different types of music out there

Ones we can listen to and ones we can share.
