Lets Save Our Earth, Our Home

I can't believe it! what have we done!

What has our beautiful Earth become?

Why are we killing our planet, our home?

We have to save the planet we own

The beautiful lands filled with green

The deep, dark, mysterious sea's

the caves of wonder filled with gold

and many places with stories untold

 

That was the past let's look at the 'Now'

I still don't understand why we allow

people to destroy the corals and the fish

the sky, the forests, and things that enrich

Look up, right now, at the night sky

How many stars do you see one? maybe five

Space is much brighter than we can see

but the sky is so dull, why? you ask me

it's because of some harmful things

That the air isn't safe for us to breathe in

Some industries, cars, and great factories

are the reason the sky is as dull as it is

These poor animals are losing their homes

losing their land with nowhere to roam

now since they don't have a place to thrive

where can these creatures possibly survive

plastic should be something that's banned

look at how much it has hurt this land

from animals eating at and getting hurt

to it actually not decaying and spoiling the earth

how do we do it? how can we change?

I know this all is something new and strange

one step at a time is all I know

we can save the earth by doing so

We can't make a change overnight

We need your help to set things right

let's stop using these things that hurt the world

together we can do it every boy and girl
