Motherhood
Motherhood
The one who gave me birth,
The one who carried me in her womb,
The one who hides her cry from others,
The one who loved me more than herself,
Is no one else, that's my mother.
She taught me to walk,
She taught me to talk,
She plays with me,
She always loses in every game so that she could see my smile,
Nothing is more important for her than her baby's smile.
A mother hides her pain,
And never let her children know about it.
But by seeing Her child's eyes she understands our pain,
Is she a magician?
If her child has a fever,
She doesn't sleep whole night,
And give her courage to fight,
And spend her whole night,
She sings lullabies and fables for us,
Is she a doctor?
When her child make some weird drawing,
She praises her child and give him courage to do better next time,
In the fought times of winter,
She makes a wooden sweater,
A sweater for her child,
So her child doesn't get cold,
Is she a tailor?
When her child make mistakes,
Sometimes she scolds,
She teaches her child to go do etiquettes,
Is she a teacher?
She's a mother,
But playing roles of many,
She does everything for her child,
And In taking care of her child she passes her whole day,
She always wants her child to fulfil his/her dreams,
So that like her,
Her child doesn't suffer,
Is she a God?
Maybe or maybe not
