Mother Nature's Fury
Mother Nature's Fury
It was a pitch-black night
The moon was nowhere in sight
The stars were looking faded
This just wasn't right
It seemed the earth was drained of hope
The earth was at the end of its rope
Her crying echoed through all our hearts
But it was us who had chosen this path
Hearing her wail and howl was unbearable
But I am not easily scareable
I would win this war, I wouldn't let her down
I wouldn't let her die, I wouldn't let her drown
But mother earth in her sorrows was fatigued
About our behaviour she was intrigued
Why would her children behave like this
To make them understand this is her only wish
We the children are her army, strong
Our words are our power and they can never go wrong
United with the earth we shall stand
Confidently and courageously holding her hand
