Mosquito
Mosquito
Wearied out by the long day,
I fell down on the bed to lay.
Dozed off from the busy world,
Then came you, off from your dirty world,
Buzzing around me, with thirst for blood,
Pulling me back to greedy world,
Unwilling to be back on feet,
Whirling hands to chase you off,
But in vain, my hands in pain
Decided to end the crusade,
Bounced off the bed into battle,
Picking an electric racket for aid
It's a determined game for a peaceful sleep.
Eventually won the match,
And appreciated myself with trophy in hand.
Your thirst for blood, isn't what I fear,
Malaria, dengu, chikungunya is, what I fear.
My dread now, by gone,
Peaceful lull back on.
