Tragedy

Moments

Moments

1 min 186 1 min 186

I miss the sweet little moments,

Watching the children laughing and playing in the park,

Vendors crowding the pavements,

People strolling and chatting as it grew dark.

We could greet each other from far or near,

And walk, hand in hand on the beach,

There was no worry or fear,

As we slept soundly, while the owls would screech.

Students rushed to their classes,

As the school bell rang,

Parents, in a hurry, to reach their workplaces,

As the morning prayer, together in the assembly, we all sang.

Now life seems to have come to a standstill,

We shall hopefully sail through this phase with determination and God’s will.
