She set out on another journey,

Certain, it was the missing key,

Accompanied with the fortitude to recover,

With renewed zest and fervour,

On the verge of unravelling,

The secret to healing,

Stumbled once again,

Feeling a sharp stab of pain,

Broke down in distress,

As it had hindered her progress,

Reeling in self-doubt,

In an attempt to figure out,

Pondering her inability to cope,

Beginning to lose all hope,

Struggling to maintain balance,

Choosing to forge ahead with nonchalance,

Fallen behind by ten paces,

Undeterred by the searing gazes,

She retraced her steps with a smile,

Inclined to allure and beguile.
