MONSOON STRIKES

MONSOON STRIKES

1 min
192

When the rain is raining all around,

It falls on fields and trees,

Cities get submerged underwater,

People left stranded on the streets!

It falls on the umbrellas, here and there,

Overflowing the rivers and seas,

Causing destruction everywhere,

Mercilessly, killing families!

It falls on the rooftops, and upon me,

But, my dear fellow being,

Those tiny droplets of water, are not responsible for this calamity,

Unplanned infrastructure, is why, this disaster strikes us yearly!
