MERE FEARS
MERE FEARS
The fears in your heart are oft unwarranted,
Born under societal pressure and burdened hopes,
To abide by their convictions and to be perfect.
Forget not, you are an invaluable treasure.
You fears your wrinkles, your gray hair,
Your growing age and weight,
Even fear to be yourself at times,
To be seen as too great before eyes.
You fear to speak your mind,
To stand out in a crowd,
You fear to be rejected and ignored,
And be labeled too feeble and delicate.
But your fears are all follies,
For you are beyond you think,
Your strength, grace, poise and your beauty
Beloved, all lie within you, unseen.
Break free from the chains of fears,
And live life with pride and self-hope,
For you are worthy and deserving,
Of love and revarance and acceptance, forever.
