Memoir
Memoir
Looked out of the window,
Saw you dancing in the rain,
I think of moments and memories,
I wish to be there once again!
There ain't no winter coming soon,
Because it isn't cloudy and I can clearly see the moon,
Remember when our car broke down once,
We made love hearing Frank Sinatra amidst the rising sun,
When you thought it was over,
I promised you a ring and a shiny range Rover,
I begged for one but couldn't steal,
That night when we binged watched Ally McBeal,
Drunk, hungry, we hit the streets that night,
And in the morning we forgot to catch our flight!
I asked for money from Adam,
And he said we should be granted asylum,
Somehow we managed to earn some money,
We just kept on laughing and people thought we were funny,
At the top of Eiffel, but why did we shout?
You craved for fondue,
And I wanted it too,
I chose cheese,
And instead you had it all,
Left nothing for me to eat, and now left nothing in me to live for!
But I watched you go that day,
Not a word I heard you say,
When you left for Singapore,
I still figure out what happened a night before,
I wonder what made you so unsure, insecure,
I couldn't stop you from going,
But you can't stop me from showing,
This girl I am with now,
Happier than before,
But sadder than I thought!
