Meet With God

Close your eyes and concentrate,

It is not the right method to meditate.

Imagine the light and become enlightened,

By doing this, only your vision will be dampened.

Sit in a distorted way and please God,

Don’t know about God, but pleased will be your pet dog.

Leave the world and be a saint,

Nothing is going to happen, even if you put on your body black paint.

Read holy books, you will be knowledgeable,

Owing to this, more probably God will be forgettable.

Chant mantras you feel you have become divine,

Within heart of hearts, still you can’t say God is mine.

Stop doing everything and just sit alone,

Observe your thoughts and your worries will be gone.

Stop working hard to attain God,

He is not a commodity,

He will kiss your forehead when you will be no more.
