Mariam-uz-Zamani
Known in history as Heer Kunwari, Jodha Bai,
Or known as Hira Kunwari or Harka Bai.
Born on First October, 1542,
Lived till May 19, 1623.
She was an Empress of the Mughal Empire,
She was the wife of Mughal Emperor Akbar.
Was the mother of the next Mughal Emperor, Jahangir.
And grandmother of the following Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan,
So referred to as the Queen Mother of Hindustan.
Was the longest serving Hindu Mughal Empress. Tenure, from 6 February 1562 over 43 years.
Akbar's marriage with her was a very important event in Mughal history.
She is widely regarded in modern Indian historiography.
Her marriage to Akbar created a change in policy, It led to a shift in his religious and social policy.
