MACRAME- a web of untangled lies

Themes- perceptions and perspectives, human tendencies

I picked up a thread and sew a web of lies

So intricately entangled

As I saw, on the surface of yellow light 

They seemed as though, golden spangles

Strewn over a lemony surface

As I observed in companionship 

with the sullen asphalt

They seemed almost as streaks of moonlight

But as the prismed lens of my perceptive eye shattered 

I saw in all white light 

An untangled web of nothingness
