You get close to me

I smile, 

There're jokes and laughter heard

They say I am in denial,

Asking me questions 'Do I love him?'

I decline and give a sheepish smile

I can see it in his ways,

The awkward face and making closeness in haste

It's scary it's true,

But what's scarier is I don't love you

The loveless lies I have never told,

Trying not to break your heart but lo and behold,

From the start you see,

I have said 'I can't love you, Love is scary'.

Oops I fell

Oops I tripped

Still thinking was it okay? 

Or I have committed the biggest sin there is.

Tearing apart,

Because I never told you the loveless lies,

 It's true

I just want happiness for you
