Paralyzed

I am frozen in mid scream

My words have become a far cry from what they seem

My problems seem petty issues now

Now that I am surrounded by frozen tears all around.

Time, has stopped. My mind has too.

But in my heart I know - I am scared

Scared beyond the nightmares, It's true.

World is passing by rapidly, how?

Can they not see me? Am I not in the now?

Screaming Screaming. It's the screaming they cannot hear

Begone, they say

They don't want me among their peers.

Now I can't, can't make a sound for the life of me.

Because now I am paralyzed in some forgotten dream.
