My Warrior

Love like diamond and smile like gold

She is a purebred warrior, yet there is no ego behold

My shield, my Armor, my protection I swear

It is her flare; I am enthralled by her immortal care.

I am not perfect; neither is she

But she has the power to correct her mistakes, that’s beauty

First teacher, guide and companion she is for me

I don’t need a knight in a shining armor

I just need her, That’s all you see.

I am happy to laugh and cry with her

It’s these moments I know I will cherish forever

Our relationship faced the fated difficulties

We stumbled along the way, I tell you- it wasn’t easy
