"Love" Marriage

"Love" Marriage

You come back home every night

Stinking of cannabis, drunk to the core.

You throw the food and beat me up

Calling me a harlot, slut and whore.

And then waking me up every morning

With oh so soft kisses of yours!

Engulfing me in your arms closely

Only love from your being pours.

For five years while we dated

You proved to be the best man for me.

Then what changed you after marriage,

Why can't happy like other couples we be?

In these four months after our wedding

Every night for me has been a nightmare.

You become an angel in the morning, a devil by night

Is this your love? Is this how much you care?
