Love As We Know It
Love As We Know It
Feigns to build a fence
Around a garden with a signpost of graves,
A tad bit of magic that knows no logic
Every heart secretly craves
Feels like an Aabra Kadabra, abibiti-baabiti-boo
And some more of mystical maneuvers,
When in the moon this mass
Collectively sees it's individual lovers.
To me and my Sheldon Cooper of a heart,
For long all this stayed a mystery,
No scientist could I make of this brain
Neither can I brag a solid dating history.
'For long but not long enough!', exclaims he,
That is my active imaginations hearing the cupid,
As he sends her walking my way to say,
'What was that, which you called stupid?"
Seems as though rationality is no more a friend to me,
All that's supposed to be above ground-level is way below it,
Gods are laughing, fairies in an attempt at mocking
Welcome me to the world of 'Love as we know it'.
